Thanks for voting my group practice, Vista Massage & Wellness Studio, as one of Indiana's Best Local Businesses on WRTV's A*List! We're thrilled, flattered & grateful!!!

Greetings, Daydreamers ~ I'm so glad you've taken the time to visit my website.  My goal is to provide you with a clearer understanding of the many benefits that Therapeutic Massage/ Bodywork has to offer & show how these techniques can be essential to your physical & mental health and well- being.  I believe that by the time you finish reading this site, you'll be springing out of your chair to pick up the phone to schedule a visit with me!  Honestly though, I do hope the info presented will assist you in making a well-educated decision to reserve a "much-kneaded" session at Daydreams Massage with Jill John (that's me!) today.
One glance in the phone book shows there are many people you could go to for Massage Therapy.  However, since massage is such a personal experience, it's best to avoid picking a random person without knowing anything about them...so how do you choose?  The goal of this site is to help you make an informed choice so you can receive the best massage possible.   That's why I'm convinced that after reading about my education, skills, philosophies & variety of modalities I offer; you'll feel confident in selecting me as your Nationally Certified Massage Therapist of choice!

My main area of focus is on issues of women's wellness.  Therefore, I specialize in working with female clients and have designed Daydreams Massage Therapy with the thought in mind of being a welcoming environment for ladies of all ages, colors, shapes & sizes... a quiet, comfortable haven away from all the stress and tension of daily life. Many of the females I see require specialized attention for a wide variety of issues and health conditions, such as pregnancy, headaches, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, arthritis, pre-menstrual syndrome, eating disorders, back pain & everyday stresses.  Others visit me for "much-kneaded" relaxation, pampering & nurturing touch.  I take all concerns seriously & strive to resolve an individual's needs to the best of my ability.

Please note that I only accept females to my practice.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. However, I'm happy to refer males to any of the talented Healing Arts Professionals at Vista Massage & Wellness Studio, the cooperative group practice that I founded in 2005.  I  highly recommend any of Vista's practitioners & I'm proud to be associated with colleagues of such high quality.  Gentlemen, please call 317.883.4966 for a referral.  Thanks for your understanding on this matter.
Please Note:  Full draping is required for all clients, without exception.  All services provided by both Daydreams Massage Therapy and Vista Massage & Wellness Studio are absolutely professional, legitimate, ethical, non-sexual or non-sensual & completely respectful in nature.

In The World And In Ourselves
~ Feeling Fed Up With Humanity

From time to time, we may all feel fed up with humanity, whether it's from learning about what's going on around the world, or what’s going on next door. There are always situations that leave us feeling as if people are simply not capable of behaving in a way that is coming from a place of awareness. Often it seems as if people are actually geared to handle things in the worst possible way, repeatedly. At the same time, none of us wants to linger in a judgmental mood about our own species. As a result, we might tend to repress the feelings coming up as we take in the news from the world and the neighborhood.

It is natural to feel let down and disappointed when we see our fellow humans behaving in ways that are greedy, selfish, violent, or uncaring, but there are also ways to process that disappointment without sinking into despondency. As with any emotional response, we honor our feelings by feeling them fully, without judging or acting on them. Once we've done that—and we may need to do it every day, as part of our daily self-care—we can begin to consider ways that we might help the situation in which humanity finds itself.

As always, we start with ourselves, utilizing our awareness of the failings of others to renew our own commitment to be more conscious human beings. We are all capable of the best and the worst that humanity has to offer, and remembering this keeps us in check, as well as allowing us to find compassion for others. We may find ourselves feeling compelled to serve people who are suffering injustices at the hands of other people, or we may begin to speak out when we see something that we don’t think is right. Whatever the case, the only thing we can do is pledge to serve the best, rather than the worst, of what humanity has to offer, both in the world, and in ourselves.

~Peace, Happiness & Namaste~Jill
